Plants and Pickle Sale, 1 June
This has been rescheduled due to the incredibly hard ground and the difficulties people are experiencing splitting their wonderful contributions. It will now take place on 1st June, 2019, on the village green from 10:30am to midday.
Plants, pickles, preserves and cake donations would be welcomed for the new date! All money raised will go towards Friends of St Botolph. Donations can be brought along in the morning or left at Fox Earth in advance.
Churchyard Tidy up 7 June, from 5pm
Bring along your gardening tools and gloves to help tidy up the outside of the church and churchyard. This is a very popular event where the whole family can join in and get everything looking its best for St Botolph’s Day. Pulled pork rolls and homemade cakes will be provided, together with cold drinks.
St Botolph’s Day Service, 30 June 10:00am
Join us in the church for a joint Benefice service to celebrate our Patron’s Day. Refreshments will be served after the service. See also the Services page.

The annual family walk for Rogation Sunday takes place next Sunday, 5 May. This is a gentle walk around the village, with stops for hymns and short prayers, at a field full of crops, gardens, by the river etc.
Traditionally Rogation Sunday is the day when the church offers prayers for God’s blessing on the harvest and on those who work to produce our food, and a common feature as the ceremony of beating the bounds. The Rogation walk is the modern version of this.
We will meet by the lychgate at St Andrew’s, Kimbolton, at 10.45, and return to the church at the end of the walk.
Everyone is welcome, especially children, but it can be a bit muddy if the weather has been wet so please do wear suitable footwear!
