The licensing service for the new Rector of our benefice, Rev Philip Howson, will be held at St Andrew’s Kimbolton on Tuesday 9 July at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend this important service.
On Sunday 14 July therefore Philip will take his first service – this will be a joint benefice service in St Andrew’s Kimbolton at 10.45am. The choir will sing a specially written anthem and the service will be followed by a “bring and share” lunch across the road in the Mandeville Hall.
Please let Daphne know if you would like to sing with the benefice choir, and please sign the list in church is you are planning to come to the lunch.
30 June is the fifth Sunday this month, so there will be a united benefice service at Stow Longa at 10am (note the time!)
This also means there will be no morning service in Kimbolton this Sunday. However if you want to support the church, as well as nursing charities, please visit Wrights Farm in the afternoon where the garden is open under the National Garden Scheme.
